Australia is a vast continent; bustling cities and also remote rural areas. People everywhere face life and psychiatric challenges. Internationally, many countries offer few options where English speaking psychotherapy is needed. In addition, a suitable therapist is often difficult to locate.
As a result, I’m often contacted by those who have been unable to connect with a compatible psychotherapist, within reasonable travelling distance or because of flexibility required, such as in the case of being unable to leave home to attend in person. In the past, I have often been saddened by an inability to meet the challenge of therapy across distance or circumstances.
Today, we are lucky that communication channels allow for meaningful contact and interaction, no matter how far away our physical presence might be.
Should you find yourself feeling alone and somewhat lost in your search for support at times of distress, please contact me to discuss the possibilities fully.
We can explore the possibilities for this type of work together, meet online and start your journey towards a brighter future.
I have been servicing the community via online channels for more than 10 years. The arrival of COVID-19 had necessitated that all therapy be conducted online. I am continuing to practice in this way and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future.
I consider myself fortunate to have a well-established practice and a tried and tested approach for the delivery of highly effective online therapy. For those who are well accustomed to online channels, the transition is relatively simple. Others may not be quite so comfortable with technology and need a little help.
Whatever you're at, I would love to hear from you and help you to move forward into the Online framework.
